Vacant bloodshot eyes
Stare at one spot on the wall
Feeding tubes and scrubs

I should let him die
Mercy killers dropped the ball
So I pull the plug

Date: 3/31/2010 12:09:00 PM Dear Yoni, as a nurse this one reaches out to me. These end of life questions are something medical personnel struggle with all the time. It's hard on families--it's hard on all that strive to make things better. Quality is better than quantity for me but not everyone feels that way, especially those that hang onto hope that a loved one will recover.
