Deep Sea Fantasy
Deep azure and aquamarine.
Torrents of creatures cascade by.
I absorb this peaceful scene.
A wonderland in my mind's eye.
Floating along this fantasy.
I swim with the fishes here.
Weightless and so wildly free.
Forgetting all my earth-bound fear.
Symmetry that serves me well.
Dancing on the sandy floor.
Then rising to the frothy swell.
Diving to retreat once more.
Seagrass feeds my appetite.
Lobsters,clams and mussels too.
I feast upon both day and night.
Then drift away when I am through.
So roll me with the ocean tide.
Let the waves just take me under.
Like a dolphin I'll joy-ride.
Through the depths of deep sea thunder.
