Death Was Served
There was fear in the co-pilot’s eyes,
his voice was thin and almost cracked,
passengers filled the plane with cries,
their plane was one of many attacked,
the pilot felt her stomach clamp,
even tighter then it had ever been,
face wet, mind damp,
and her co-pilot right there,
drinking in the tension and expressing the fear,
the pilot’s voice came out strong,
she wanted to break the silence
that they suffered for so long,
and it made the plane feel like
the inside of a tomb,
over 200 passengers felt the doom,
crashing soon,
and death was served that afternoon.
