Death of a Tree
Through clouds and fog visions of Leland Cyrpus turning brown~dying
Too dry or just the fungi to which they are suseptible?
One by one death slowly overtakes them
Their usefulness still needed; their time here still important but death visits anywary__
Nature has a way of weeding out..
The needles 'pon the pines begin to turn amber
The oldest ones will fall to the ground to decay__
Just a part of the fall season
Their needles useful for mulch and to hold in moisture
A protection against the cold of winter of the dry days of summer
Humans are part of the natural order_some die in the spring, some in the summer
Some live to their autumn but still are useful and important
Some live to their winter to grow old and feeble
Long past their best years but to their family are still so important, loved and needed
In the scheme of things__death calls them away.....
