Dear Lord
I need a favor and you say that one must ask.
For anything is possible and Life's not ment to last.
Lord father's Day is almost here and Mother's day has passed.
I know he dwells within your house were he will always stay.
Please send my Daddy to me on this special day.
I want to see his face once more and here his loving voice.
I guess it was his calling and he didn't have a choice.
I want to say we miss him and wished that he were here.
I want to say we love him in case he didn't hear.
I want to tell the family what he had to say.
Cause we are all together every Father's day.
The boys need him in their life to whisper in his ear.
The girl's need his bouncing lap to comfort them from fear.
Mom misses him dearly but surely she has found.
Comfort in her heart cause she says your still around.
You left us with so many things that never fade away.
So here's my chance to tell you through this special way.
Thank you Lord so very much!
