So many things has been forggoten
It is said that the are acient or old
Some said it’s modernization
Some termed it moving ‘’forward’’

Days are gone when we had cultural belief
Days are gone when we no longer stay together
Our ancestors are feeling it
We i’ve forggoten our traditions and culture

oh’ what a disgrace of culture in the past
our ancestors are now a laughing stuck in their grave
we are are mournimg our dead tradion and culture
we have no regret of what we i’ve done

days are gone whenwe are ignorant of what we do
we left our tradidion and joined the ones of people who brought us into slavery
we said is nothig serious
but now is the right time to ammendthings.

After I figured out the poet is black then the poem made a lot of sense to me. I've never heard this point of view expressed before, it's something to think about.
