Days Are Gone

DAYS ARE GONE WHEN.......... So many things has been forggoten It is said that the are acient or old Some said it’s modernization Some termed it moving ‘’forward’’ Days are gone when we had cultural belief Days are gone when we no longer stay together Our ancestors are feeling it We i’ve forggoten our traditions and culture oh’ what a disgrace of culture in the past our ancestors are now a laughing stuck in their grave we are are mournimg our dead tradion and culture we have no regret of what we i’ve done days are gone whenwe are ignorant of what we do we left our tradidion and joined the ones of people who brought us into slavery we said is nothig serious but now is the right time to ammendthings.

After I figured out the poet is black then the poem made a lot of sense to me. I've never heard this point of view expressed before, it's something to think about.
