Dark Memory
As darkness
eats into the soul
In memory of
Rustling inside
dark untold
I met a woman
who gave me hell
A broken heart
one dropped and fell
She stole the insides
straight out of me
Another man held
her on his knee
She was telling him things
That she never told me
Crying upon
a lonely bed
Not a word to
anyone was said
A burning hurt
into one's chest
Broken dreams
must put to rest
Deep inside
rattling in one's cage
Killed the heart
I dig one grave
Then depart
Upon the stone
Carved these words
i died this night
over you
In the spirit
one of peace
Flying on wings
of a dove
dying this night
with you
one love
no more
