Danzinger Bridge Shooting

The courts found the New Orleans Police guilty of shooting and killing innocent people on the Danziger Bridge. Outside on the court steps a mother responds to the verdict regarding her son, a retarded young man who was just trying to get his two dogs out of the Katrina waters to safety. "They took the twinkle out my eye, the song out of my heart and blew out my candle. But it's gon' be alright -- because justice has been served. The day has come. Fat lady done sang. Curtain came down. Nothing more to say."
