Crying On the Inside

Crying on the inside but smiling on the out. Pain, hurt, anger makes her want to just shout. Bravely to the world she stands strong. Yet deep inside she feels she doesn’t belong. She walks towards the ocean, a place she calls home Sits on a bed rock just to be alone. The calm atmosphere brings a smile to her face. She wishes all her troubles could just be erased. Life is not easy of that she knows, But she just feels alone, everywhere she goes. She tries to be positive, but the tears won’t stop An uneasy feeling that all her hard work is just one big flop. So many thoughts run through her head. One if them is where she wishes she was just dead. She’s tired of people telling her how to feel A part of her heart is missing, and that part will never be healed. She’s been hurt many times, now losing her trust As many now mistaken love for lust. She loves with all her heart but gets played for fool She learns to let go but believes life is just cruel. So, bravely to the world, she continues to stand strong Like the rocks at sea, she just pretends to be numb. Love and life leaves her in absolute doubt. She’s crying on the inside yet smiling on the out…
