My cat is definitely crazy. She chases invisible bugs then runs through my kitchen scattering the cotton rugs. When I was working out she jumped on my treadmill. She leapt off just as quickly, I guess she'd had her fill. She runs through the house chased by invisible ghosts, then, back arched, she skids to a stop. Yes, a stranger cat than most. She sleeps under the trampoline. She thinks that I can't see her. But I know just where she is by her snoring, not her purr. She is a funny animal but we get along just fine. I wouldn't want another, this crazy cat is mine. see"about this poem" for photo

I have one of those crazy felines too. After my husband feeds our cat at 5:00 a.m. it runs around like it is totally out of it's mind. I wouldn't trade the silly thing either, because i am quite attached to it. you poems is excellent.

At first, I was expecting to see something about the old comic strip character who always hung around with a mouse named "Ignatz". I see that is not the case. I don't have a cat now, but your poem reminds me very much of the ones I have had in the past. Good write as usual, Francine.

I am gonna comment and then see a pic of your feline roommate! This is a poem that goes to my heart, Francine...it is full of energy and affection for one's pet!! Quite entertaining with these invisible ghosts and invisible insect chases...If you could just train it to use your workout equipment....a second poem about your feline workout partner would be a howl!! lol....enjoying your work as always....gwendolen

There's a lot to be said for a personal cat. Carolyn and I started with six about two years ago. (The cat was pregnant) We are down to two of the five babes. They are yard cats, and we live in the country. So, they just disappear. Coyotes, I think. Anyway, we had to put the Mom down last month with saddle thrombosis. So sad to was one go that way and she was so intelligent. I mean she would just look at you and you would know. Good poem. I like.
