Counting On Change

I have to believe in a higher power There is no way I'll make it on my own I want to make it into heaven So, many chances I've already blown To become the person I was destined to be I still have the chance to catch up Learning to give love unconditionally Become a wise dog which has grown from a pup Using knowledge gained from every test To help you in your life Tuning into all your senses Becoming sharper than a knife I want to become one with God Experience happiness first hand I would like to know the meaning of life I want to understand So, I'll pray I find my way in life I pray I continue on doing my best Achieving the rights of passage to Heaven After my body has been laid to rest.
