Could Ever Afford
Could Ever Afford
On river were many things floating by
And no matter how hard I did try
Thought of Jesus in my mind did remain
With all His grief and so much pain.
It was much more than I could endure;
To be a person so perfect and pure;
In his voice had been so much joy
And sinners would continually annoy.
I listened to Jesus very carefully;
He said I am the one you should see
When to my Father you pray every day;
Listen to what we both have to say.
Pray to Us for a minute or two
And when your prayer is finally through
You will reap such a great reward
That no one else could ever afford.
