Constellation
Been a while since utterance of my soul took place
Writing implements remained still in front of my window;
Watching the sky’s teardrops in silence’s bow
Parchments faced drought’s harsh blisters,
For the enclosure’s water dried across its lands
Notions embraced time’s strides
Contemplation danced with every day’s rhythm
Eyes drifted to the deepest valley of secrets
Rays drew themes of a day’s occasion
A tear, a smile were once shared
Constellations of events led to many thoughts
Thoughts led to roads of thoughts
Ink and pen were tucked by dust
Lonesome knocked on their doors,
But hope never faded away
Tonight I came back
Tonight I held the pen
Tonight I sing to them to sleep
Tonight I raise the flag of speech,
As liberty resurrects one’s inner soul
