Connections

Connections To the water’s edge for solitude Life rippling near river’s bed Prayers lifted now in gratitude As burdens heavy cloak is shed See my brothers See my sisters Drifting now in foreign lands See the members Of my family In each and every clan At the water’s edge in solitude Tears mingling with life’s stream Visions of connections interlace As realities overlap the dreams All Rights Reserved by Debra Squyres 3/12/13

Beyond the shores of flesh and blood the spirit knows the way. To go and join the many souls who live in yesterday. They have not gone so far away that we can not believe. That when we travel down that road, it's them that we will see. Connections! Without a doubt Debra. Such a beautiful poem. Peace. :)
