Condiment Love Triangle

salt says hi to the sugar
Who’s in love with the pepper
Who’s the one who left the mustard
Who misses the ketchup
Whose kicks come from the hot sauce
Who truly loves the salt

Good job, Matthew. Too funny. I had to think for a moment to see which is in love with whom, lol.

I remember seeing an episode of "The Newlywed Game" some years ago where the wives were asked the question "What is your husband's favorite condiment?" Two of the women did not know the meaning of "condiment". An interesting write.

The spices and condiments of "life"...blending, interacting. iinterchanging...all necessary for full sweetness. LOL! That's my interpretation,Michael. May be completely different from what you had in mind, nevertheless, I have enjoyed much! Thanks for your kind comment on my featured poem. Enjoy your weekend! Annalise

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read several of my poems. I have been late in returning the favor because I've been in the UK, on vacation. I'll try to get on the Soup more often though!

Well this was a dose of weird for my morning... lol! In it's quirkiness I found it strangely appealing... it seems the condiments are all out of luck loving someone (thing) who doesn't love them back.
