Come Autumn
Come autumn I shall think of you Our glories of the past And so be moved by nature's mood And in her spell be cast To find you in the woodlands Or there upon some hill The beauty of your being A comfort to me still Sweet sense of having loved you Though you be far away Is in itself the pleasure Of what I feel this day Come autumn I will love you In everything I see And hold you so envisioned For all eternity
