Clean of Love
The beginning of a perfect relationship
only eleven years old so we really did know what to make it.
happiness was all in my eyes
and when you talked every word would wrap my mind.
It was crazy for us to be in love and very young too
you would always have me and i had you.
besides Jimmy, there was no one else i could give my heart to
but surprisingly i do.
Trey, you were my drug.
The years went by so fast it scared me
something or someone was coming between.
breakups became a daily routine for us
our love for each other turned into lust.
my friends would say girl dont take him back
but without you my heart was under attack.
i would put on a smile and say okay
and we'll be seen walking together in less than 2 days.

High school came around quick
i couldnt take much more of it.
my maturity and your games just didnt match
lies? im tired of all of that!
I had to let you go for all the right reasons
i needed to get my head right by next season.
And i did and everything was okay for me
i got to see the person you chose to be.
now i can look back and actually say i wasnt with you
just the first person i ever loved (Jimmy) came into view.
his face took your face and not body or words
so i dont care what you heard!
You were my drug
but Jimmy is who i loved!
