Chaos
caged birds muted with selfish thoughts of freedom
cats wtih eyes like metronomes burning their stare into faces
killers silencing their victims with hands like death
saints waiting patiently for a savior
and where am i?
im nowhere...
vanished into a universe where thoughts are free
away from the trapeze act of living
asleep for a thousand years in my own eternal peace
walking through a valley of controlled mayhem
street cars speeding by splashing
puddles on business men on sidewalks made of gold
screaming winds yell tragedies into crying childrens ears
mothers wrapping worthless arms around shaking blankets
the walls of homes crashing down exposing city lights to sleeping families
chaos.
the only peace ill ever know
