Changing Sky
Rain, now just light sprinkles
Sunbeam on the kitchen floor
I see beyond the apple trees
An arch of color not there before
A rainbow's vivid hues appeared
As began an aching in my breast
It's splendor there for moments
With this the earth was blessed
Rainbows that we see are visions
A drop of water in the prism skies
They fade into our imaginations
Seen with more than just our eyes
