Change In the Weather

Old politics smashed on the rocks by the powerful tides of the new The weather is changing Can we still confront society's storms? A cry of joy wakes us! All hope is not lost From the vortex known as the past comes a breath of fresh air What we once dreamed remains alive We will not be daunted by voices of despair The tide rushes in and rushes out leaving behind the shifting sands As we walk in the tidal pools It dawns on us that all the joy we anticipated May still be coming May still have a wondrous revival
