Chains On Her Heart No More

Every day there was a lot
Of suitors to steal her heart
But she locked it tightly in
Until she could once again
Trust someone enough to let
Them in her soul that wont forget
The pain torture and cruel acts
There was no way to bounce back
From the visions that will haunt
Dig inside, take hold and taunt
Till she broke down and just snapped
She did not want to relapse
Falling into devils arms
Luring her with deadly charms
That will end in hurt and sorrow
And more sadness for tomorrow
Many men have tried to break
These chains caused by her heartache
No one could ever get through
Until the day she spotted you
With the same look she has worn
Ever since her heart was torn
She could see the same torment
And another love dormant
Feeling the chains on her heart
Start to crumble all apart
As she sat and said hello
Lightness covered the shadow
That was dark and full of fear
Now their worlds all bright and clear
The only chains are now of cheer
That connects them everywhere
Link by link they are building
A love that is true and willing
To never live once again
In the hell their hearts were in
