Button Art
An old woman left it at the thrift store;
To a young girl, it was so much more
It wouldn't stay sewn on,
there is a much better use for this button
Those young eyes don't see the way others do,
This is inspiration just waiting for a muse
A Button not meant for a blouse or skirt,
Stringing until her fingers hurt
The beads align to perfection,
Bringing to life her imagination
One of a kind bracelet can't be beat
On her wrist, the art is now complete
