Bucket List

To see earth's face through angels’ eyes Afloat upon cotton clouds 'neath the skies And hear noth but the whistling soft winds Which encircle me like feathered wings Too long these feet of lead have held to ground On stone where porous clay abound While spirit yearns to ascend the heights My bucket list consists of one sky jump To soar blue skies o’er land and sea Fly solo as a bird, keen and care free Where noise and din then become dearth My eyes will feast on the radiance of earth As golden wheat fields sway to and fro To softly land in mounds of hay below ~*~ 03/02/13 Annalise Brigham
