Brothers Killing Brothers
Now picture this I am going to give you readers a piece of me not fanasty but realist
come and take a walk with me stay for a while this poem is called brothers killing
brothers for a reason you will see I bared my heart in this one you''ll read I cried the
whole time as I typed this piece sit back and relax and enjoy what you read
everything is put on earth for a reason and some days I feel poetrysoup was put
here just for me to put the things that rambles threw my mind down with no one to
see but just to hear me and with some poems to feel me
BROTHERS KILLING BROTHERS
I thought we were all on the same page yall said when Obama came there would
be change Now that day has come and gone things still remain the same I see
change but change is for the worst My brothers killing brothers how this hurts
Taking lives for no reason at all Trying to live life like lyrics in a song Maybe those
who are reading dont understand So lets go a little deeper You cant see tears
running down my eyes so I have to make this poem cry Oct 8 2011 my life was
taken As I held my friend my lover my kids father in my arms in the driveway of or
house on the black pavement that is now stained red As my children stood in the
door screaming for their dad Who am I to comfort at this time them him or me
Brothers killing brothers man how it hurts It hurts me more knowing that every
minute of the day another family is going threw the same thing
As I held my loved one fighting for air the screaming the crying is to much to bare I
told him to hold on and fight for our kids I told him I loved him and all that he has
did I looked up to the sky and cried to GOD I understand if you must take him But
you blessed me with his presence and grace and being able to love him and know
him is a blessing as my tears dropped onto his face his pupils dilated and he took
his last breathe But in my mind he was still breathing and his pulse was strong my
heart couldnt let him go but god took him home That night his friend took his life
over a arguement in front of our house
