Brokeback Mountain

(The Movie)

eyes dart with red
black, white and sepia hue
the horse slows behind

selfish cotton hide
lust, under the pale moonlight
rustic underwear

Hearts not meant to be
A mountain covered with dust
Orion's chap- stick

Plunging, campfire
Temptations broken wall
Cowboy makes his mark

Now if all movie synopes were THIS poetic, it'd all be fun to read. i believe films deserve this kind of scenic summaries. :)

you covered it well with the highlights that appealed to most viewers, PD. What a unique use of senryu to review a movie. Thanks too, by the way, for you recent comment on my Reshaping the Plea...I appreciate your generosity.

Sorry i have not been on lately but my little kitty got killed last week. I'd rather not talk to much about it to much, my heart is still hurting for her. So i needed to take a brake for a few days, i know you understand, i think that's why some of my stuff is so depressing. cheri

Hi Linda - This is actually one of my favorite movies and you mirrored the mood perfectly. I get entranced by the tragic love story genre

Man, I Never Saw That Movie But I Heard A Bit About It Although And, We Do Believe In True Love Albeit Also Knowing That This Flesh Has A Mind As Agenda Of It's Own ? If In Truth It Be An Enmity Towards The 'Spirit' Then, Let Us Rise Above Of Love To Walk In It's Light This Clay That We Are For Again A Truth: We Are Not, `The Creator Nor His, Potter;` Yet, Amid This Vine And Nay Apart, We Are, What We Are....Walk In Love Shall We Dream As, 'The Children Of Light'....Love, Jeremy

I seen the title and had to stop :) Seen the movie a few times I still wonder is it real. You never really know who a person is even if you live with them, and still some just look the other way . Great poem :)
