Brian Haw

Joe Maverick Contest Name One against many Brian Haw Obsession lurks beneath the shore, Where the pulsing heart it beats, Alone he took on the might of law, Brian Haw, a man you’d meet, To protest solo, submerge the self, To give it all to the cause, To lose a wife and kids, aint nice, Soldier on for the cause alone, Poor health, but to some applause, To live on the street in the rain or heat, On your cigarette diet, atone, Jaw jamming and sometimes ramming, Till the point was sorely home, Conscience of man does surely span, The point of the social bridge, What is it that is good and right? Some pawns resent and did, rewrite, Is the moral code a bloody blight? Cos it aint all ridge-didge…….{right} Does conscience softly moan, When the rights and the wrongs, Aren’t seen by the nongs, {no-brainers} And we fight and we fight alone…. Did Blair or the Mayor at his funeral spare, Some words for the Brian Haw song, Character assassination isn’t bloody rare, oppressors they came along? Don Johnson
