Both Worlds Seem Hopeless

You worry about your hair When a strand is out of place Have everything you need To hide the marks that's on your face You have issues with your weight Different on every limb  Thinner here thicker there To resemble a bowling pin You want your skin a little darker But your face a shade too light And you'll only smile in photographs  When your teeth is the perfect white You complain when it is cold And also can't stand the heat But you know that you can change it With the mere flip of a switch You need the latest trends in fashion Accessories made from pearl All of these concerns cloud your mind From real issues within the world Did you ever think about the girl That wishes she had hair The boy that prays for shelter Or a piece of cloth to wear The man that has no bread Not even a sip of water Collecting crumbs wherever he can In an attempt to feed his daughter Or the lady that lost her world Through a tragic natural force That has given up all forms of hope And no belief to reinforce It's sad to see that both worlds Seem to be a little hopeless But with your loving heart and healing hands Lets try and shift this focus!
