Blessings

I will leave this earth as I came, taking nothing. But I leave some of myself. My children, grandchildren and all the smiles I gave, Even to strangers I met and didn't know. The good words I gave when they were needed, Blessed not only me but the receiver. Your path is preordained, your steps are set. Make sure you can say, you left your footprints on this earth. Then you will have truly been a blessing to family and friends. Copyright 2008 Anne Rutherford Poems From the heart Series

The simple truth in every life is known in friends and family. We put on heirs and act debonair. But it's only phony facsimile. When roots dig deep into life's soil. That's when you'll know you've lived life royal.

Oh! are we talking about love and it's various distentions. Well I am ready to receive that! The simple fact is that they just don't make them like that anymore! Now day's love is so inconclusive, but you write good***** Love your work! signed: your friend GF

The "footprints" that will be most important in your legacy are the poems from your heart, Anne. These are so uplifting to read. Thanks so much for sharing this series with us. I look forward to seeing more of them. Love, Carolyn
