My grandmother passed away while I was pregnant. There was a bitter sweet healing in holding our child for the first time when grief was still so heavy in our hearts. The wonder of love is that even in death it is alive and shows us God's grace in its everlasting strength, passing from us to our children in a legacy of hope. The greatest hope in life is love and how it transforms us beyond frail bodies that wither away.
