Better Paint a Smile

Another tough to face morning I gaze into the mirror Palored cheeks Clammy beaten brow Dark circled tired eyes Pin pricked pupils peer back Medicated erupting skin Drained tightly pursed lips I know today I'd better paint a smile Instill the motto to do what I can When and however that may be To try new things Embrace all and use it to my advantage To overcome adversity Making a positive difference To my own life And those around me For it is those small mercies That make such a difference daily

The last two lines speak volumes, Anna-Marie. I can't remember if I answered that one soupmail of yours. I hope I did. Thanks for letting me know your difficulties. Luv, Andrea

Hi Anna-Marie--here's a smile ^_^! I really like how you turned this around, I do agree that we should at least try to "paint a smile" despite the adversities in life-- it may not sound much but it does help, even just a bit--thanks for sharing a positive attitude in this write and for the reminder to be positive-- :) --nikko also thanks for the congrats :)
