Betrayer
With the report from a gun,
One life was shattered while.
Cruelly another was taken,
Compassion and love were forsaken.
Remorse from you was never shown,
Your reason for this may never be known.
The ones you left behind begin to wonder,
What was your reason for such a form of treason.
Now forever without their loved one,
They will have to face the empty seasons.
Without ever understanding your reason why,
They will have to face time as it comes and goes.
To my face you called yourself my friend,
With your betrayal you brought about this end.
You destroyed my life and took my true friend,
You taught me a lesson I'll never forget or forgive.
But still those who judged you allowed you to live,
You gave me a gift I never wished to receive.
One of death and betrayal is what you did send,
In this I learned the cost of Betrayals End
