Benediction

Oh so far I feel to find you Oh so near I cannot bind you; You so wise my plea goes heedless You so dear my plea was needless. In each human heart you shine For all that's good is now devine; Each act of love brings transformation With thoughts and words of consolation. Breath of life, you are the centre In that point of time we enter; A love that gives the glow of gladness Brings relief to comfort sadness. All we cherish, always flowing Passes time beyond our knowing; Trials to test our trust and love Lead us to new paths above. Creation lives in love inspired Creator lives in all desired; Painter of the cosmic spaces Life you give to earthly places. Though all humanity may claim you There's none so wise that can name you Human mouths be mute before you Silence only can adore you.

The last three lines, yes - so for all the rest. I shun religion, but with you the message is most worthwhile. Thought this might be a good time to read something spiritual. Glad you liked Contemplation. The realizations within are very attainable., though those who practice contemplation must spend many hours in meditation and contemplation to have the experiences. Love, Dave

Your benediction here reflects all I try to say in "Searching For New Praise", "Prayer Of Thanksgiving", and "Praise From A Wealthy Vagrant." Spirit filled words praising God are always beautiful in the eyes of believers.... and they always keep evil at bay...... Love ya..... Jake

Hmmm. God moves in such mysterious ways. I just got through writing a new poem, first in awhile, and I decided to drop by and check out your wonderful works. Oddly enough, we struck many of the same chords and even used the same word benediction :). This is a beautiful poem Mrs. Elizabeth. Especially that second stanza, I love the lines 'Breath of life, you are the centre. In that point of time we enter;'

Good morning Lizzie,...your fan club has awakened...here I am!!! hahaha....I couldn't resist! On the best of days I feel this breath of God upon my life...it is the center of my being...it's that glow of gladness that the world misunderstands and turns it into something more...Appreciate each and every line...I tend to think of God as a painter and agree that only muted mouths and open hearts bring Him the greatest reverence...What a write!!Nice! Hallowed be His name! gwendolen

I strongly believe that being a good listener is more important than being a good teacher Elizabeth, of course, by being a good listener you will teach others around you now and in future - I think this perspective applies to the great message in this poem - I also respect how you decided to emphasize Trust, perhaps the greatest capability of intelligent life - smooth wisdom in this write Liz - J.A.B. %
