Before the Class
Before the class I hold a chalk
And talk and talk and talk and talk
My students just sit and listen
That's what my students are doing
Sit and listen, sit and listen
I see them frowning and yawning
Before the class I have a task
To ask and ask, to ask and ask
My students then think and then speak
That's what my students are learning
To think and speak, to think and speak
I find them active and sharing
