Before I

Just before I saw your face My heart was running a race Just before I saw you My emotions were filled with love and care Just before I saw you I could sense your fragrance that filled my air Just before I saw you I could imagine your eyes that made me see clear Then I saw you, I was amazed how i had to fake my smile I was amazed of how I wished if i was far a hundred miles I was shocked of how I was saying the scripts then, I was shocked of how my heart froze my brain I pretended that i was happy and thrilled I kissed you but my lips were pulling my head Feelings were forever gone I kissed you and my guilt was eating my bones I could hardly talk, my heart was froze and cold And you were believing all the words you were told I was amazed how a smooth talker I was Lies, Lies, Lies every thing i said were lies Then, It was when I heard the word (love). My eyes just rolled up, they were looking above I couldn't say it back, i couldn't even stand And you were there, standing happy and blind Asking me gently if i was okay, No, I wasn't but i had to put an end to the play I wished if you just feel the same So, I wouldn't have to take all the blame But, you I couldn't just break your heart Because I know it would hurt more than that I'm sorry because I will have to break you down After all you did, After you made me a queen with crown I have to just let you go My heart just chose that, it is true
