Autumn's Glow

As I wander these verdant, pleasant grounds in the idyllic afternoons of autumn, colors abound before my delighted eyes, refreshing to behold. The temperature slowly declines as days go by, bringing about a fond dusting-off of the scarves and hoods of yesteryear, the chill returning once again to the air. My thoughts drift lazily where they may, fluttering about like the orange and yellow leaves in the breeze. Here, a memory of soft hands, warm lips, a warmer heart; there, a musing or two - what makes us love? Will it last? Seemingly of a sudden, I feel a bite on my face and realize the teeth belong to the air. It's that time yet once more - time to bid a fond adieu to the days of autumn's glow.
