Autumn days fading into
the sunset.

Autumn days your stay
was too short.

Autumn days you have
left the trees so bare.

Autumn days farewell
until next year.

So true, autumn days are too short as far as I'm concerned..lol. But, like you say, it'll come again next year, and the year after, and the year after, etc, etc... Another lovely write my friend.

Our trees here are still gorgeous colors full of leaves, but they are beginning to fall rapidly. It is too brief a season for me also. Your poem is very beautiful. Love, Shar
