Aung San Suu Kyi

Her Nelson Mandela tenacity has final reward with elated cries of glee in newly elected democracy. This much honored lady of Burma birth is free at last to share her worth in her peaceful mirth.

I like this rhythm very much, just flying down the slopes of the Table mountain like an eagle from the top and settlling fiercely on a branch in the wide plains...Wow, democracy! Thanks for sharing, Connie. Love, Hanitra

The lady is Aung San Suu Kyi. Less than two years ago, Myanmar's leaders were doing all they could to silence pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi. Now they're poised to welcome her into parliament. My eye is doing much better now Lizzie, thank you for asking. Hugs, Connie
