Ascend To Shakespearean Summer Sky

Ascend to Shakespearean summer sky. I loved Shakespeare as a girl When a sonnet was like a melody And I was not admitting Impediments to true minds. Our mark is fixed with the Demise of one as the only force Powerful enough to cast our Corporal union null. And separation will be Doom each for the other. If I remain, the grief will raze me and my Only consolation in not having to hurt you. If it is I who die, I’ll be with the bluebirds. ©Kathryn McL. Collins April 13, 2004

And another impeccable piece, which i think is that when we are young its all so gorgeous and hopeful but later on in life its a fear of being left behind (Corporal union null.) great line... ty karen

Yes! About PFT - I've asked Connie why PFT doesn't retain a poet's original layout. I do believe that there is more than a bit lost when all is done in block form. Love, daver

One thing they say I am is strong, but I pretty much fell apart at the time. I was a lucky duck though - we were together 36 years (most of them happy to the max), just missed the 37th anniversary. All else is well and I'm thankful for it.

Thank you Elliott. Little did I know then that in October my husband would be diagnosed with cancer and then die the following September. I am bringing out some old ones - maybe premonitions. Maybe just too many deaths. love, Kathy
