Ascend

Ascend to the hilltop, when you’re feeling low. There’s nothing left for you, in the valley below. The fog is so thick you can cut it with a knife, Ascend to your purpose, rise above the strife. Ascend to the sky, leaving behind the ground. The angels herald you, hear the higher sound. Raise yourself up and soon you will see, You’ve been down, up sets your spirit free. Ascend to higher thought, realize your dreams, Drift for a while the answers are downstream. Leave all the walls in the mirror behind, They are a trap for your soul and mind. Ascend to the top, there’s nowhere else to go. Just take the steps, the way starts to show. After some time upward you shall grow, Ascend to your calling, any way the wind blows. Ascend from sadness, let joy in your heart. Just walk away, before it all falls apart. The world is destructive; it can rob your soul. Fly to the heavens, where you can feel whole.
