Are the God's Bored

What if the Gods were just children, Who woke up smiling each day, And one day decided to create us, So they could come out and play. So they created us in their own image, Then we would have something in common you see, The Gods would teach us everything, About what its like to live free. But we took all of that knowledge, And corrupted it to have our own way, And then we turned on each other, Now the Gods refuse to come play. So the Gods turned their backs on us And quietly shut heavens door, They left us to our own devices And the greed to always want more. When a child is bored with a plaything, It wont be picked up again, They will set it down in sadness, Perhaps the Gods are feeling the same.

Very creative write... Also very thought provoking! I think we need to all learn from our mistakes, and then stop making those same mistakes again. Ha-ha.

It's a thought, Carl. I can only think of one God and I don't think He will ever be bored or sick of us no matter what we do or didn't do. Nice write, my friend :)
