I don't know how to say this
because i don't know if you'll understand
i don't know how to make this work
without taking you by the hand
all i wanted was to tell you
how i really feel inside
when you left me all i wanted
was to lay down and forever cry
when you said those words to me
it shattered me like glass
i don't know what i did
i don't know about the past
but i'm sorry for the words i said
and i'm sorry for all the fights
i'm sorry for always telling you
that you're wrong and i'm right
i didn't mean to hurt you
and its killing me inside
the words i said to you that day
keep playing through my mind
i'd do anything to tell you
how you made me feel inside
but i don't know if you'll understand its getting so hard not to cry
baby i cant take it
being so far away
baby i don't know if i can make it
without you another day
these words i speak to you are truth
i hold no lies within
these words i speak to you today
are what I've held so deep within
i cant stand not being by your side
and i cant stand all of the tears
i can stand not being here for you
when you meet your greatest fears
baby what i'm trying to say
is i love you oh so much
i'd do anything to change the past
i'd do anything for us...
