And I Whisper
Unbounded by the silence
Voices, I have heard
Upon my ear as but a breath
To take a silent word
Hush, the sound of waking
Whispers from the wood
Being made to waken breath
To stir all that is good
Speak of love -- a waking kiss
Birthed from distant dreams
Rise to break a waking dawn
Hold the morning's gleam
But a flame to save us
But a hand to hold
As the heart of such a light
Mine has been long told
And I whisper, and you hear
As you wake shall I
Walk as I, sweet tender feet
One day, we shall fly
