An Innocent Prayer
A Beautiful pearl, I saw shining in the river,
Down it was lounging in the palace of fishes clever.
I jumped into the heater to decorate it with my tone,
Oh! I forgot alone I came and I shall go alone.
The universal candle rests and its dark the early sky,
There is no murmur, no hustle, no bustle, I wonder why?
Oh lord! Give such tolerance to my bewildering heart too,
So that I can wait till my sky promises and turns blue.
The sun shines but its free from the clutches of fever,
The Ganges flow but never tasted its blessed water.
The trees sprout, yet forgive the sweet tasty fruits,
Oh lords! Show me too such bright shining routes
Where I not only accumulate the cloth and the food,
But also throw light to this world – my sweet,
Sweet neighborhood!!
