Along Sunny Shore
Along Sunny Shore
Along sunny shore water will swirl;
In gentle motion will toss and twirl
While ripples back and forth will go
On a surface where the sun does show.
I realize when I see the reflection
What does go on in every direction;
A dock near river is being built
Over sand which seems soft as silt.
In my kayak from new dock will travel
To see mysteries of life that unravel;
Later on our dock will sit and look
Wondering what to write in my next book.
