All Things Being Equal

All things being equal... all things are not Some are fortunate while some get forgot There's no equality in the scheme of things It doesn't seem right, some feel the sting The pangs of hunger, the feeling of despair We have plenty, they've nothing to wear My heart laments at this grave injustice How do we help the needy, the helpless These poor lost souls, they suffer so much While we have plenty within our touch Can someone please tell me why this is so Why can't everyone share in the glow The glow of a life, of gladness and joy Instead of the sadness of young girls and boys Perhaps some time in the days up ahead We'll all know joy and equality instead! © Jack Ellison 2013

Very serious for you Jack but important for all to consider. Well done

I read somewhere that the amount of food America wastes would be sufficient enough to solve world hunger. This is sad, indeed... an injustice of the "luck of the draw". It's not so much whether you work hard or don't work... it relies a lot on simply WHERE you are born (terribly sad, but with a grain of truth).

I'll share my crazy with every one... Want some?... Guess what... Dragon and I found a bunch of crazy people just like us on UTube videos... It's a shame they don't do story poems... Or make Dragon videos... Dragon says he wants one... Yeah right!... I just figured out the computer keyboead and the on/off switch!... Don't think it's going to happen... But Zefrank1 could narrate my poems any day.... What a voice!... LOL
