Afternoon of Wonder

This afternoon I will
        take whatever joy
  I can
   A female voice singing
       leads me to experience
the feelings of love
    which the unseen has
    left in the city air
One thousand thousand men and women
feel the power of the unseen
     which generates peace and joy
What magic has sustained us
during thei misty afternoon?
  An inkling of what has
   is available in our
   sense of wonder
  which guides all philosiphy
which gukeds us home

Hi! Re your question on my poem, Water Dance: According to all the references and even Wikipedia, a concrete poem and a shape poem is one and the same thing. Also see my poem, Dusk Smiles, in the form (if arranged in the form of the garland - See my poem, Dusk, for yet another garland shaped poem)..... George Herbert's poems, "A Wreath", "The Altar", etc were called by his contemporaries, "his (Herbert's) conceits". The definition on Poetry Soup of a "shape" poem is incorrect. Love, Suzette
