A Winter Haiku

. On a barren tree
                                                 A Cardinal stops to rest
                                                    Bleakness flies away

I know what you mean Laine, when ever a bird rests upon a branch how I long to commune with it, there's always a little bleakness when they up and fly away. This is a wonderful Haiku, so much feeling within your words. Bravo on this one! Happy New Year!! Love Light Patty
