A While Ago

A While Ago

A while ago he had been here

Then into the night did disappear

Never to ever be seen again;

At end of each prayer we say Amen.

This is how Jesus lived on earth

And for what to you it may be worth

He will return again one day

Which is what the scriptures say.

On crusted cross died for you and me

So from our sins we could be free;

Soon will be in heaven with him

And all the angels and each diadem.

Hope I did right thing by leaving

And with my poems was not deceiving;

By God from group I was meant to be

Me and my silent soul finally set free.

When I write this poem I do perspire

Then will go on to finish its entire

And when I arrive at very last line

I'll know that poem is God's and mine.
