A Total Blast

I'm in one of my happy moods
Don't know the reason why
Sure is better than a downer mood
My friends would wonder why

Always try to be upbeat each day
Sure can be difficult at times
Some days are much more challenging
There's just no reason or rhyme

It's probably just mind over matter
We're always the one in control
If you choose to wear a dirty big smile
It'll do wonders for your soul

I'm sure some of you guys are saying
That's easier said than done
But perseverance is surely the key
So stick at it, life's full of fun

In troubling times try to remember
All the good things you possess
You'll find the dark clouds will disappear
With happiness you'll soon be blessed

Really don't need no fortune or fame
Material things don't always last
Happiness is the greatest companion
Your life will be a total blast!

Blast? Cool! I hadn't thought of that! What would happen if I lite a fire cracker under that silly dragon! I bet it'd be fun... LOL... or I'd probably be put in time out by Grandpa Troll... Some times you just can't win... But I'll never stop trying!... LOL

Fabulous! I love to be upbeat as well my friend, life is too short to be so gloomy! But as you said, some days you can't help it, no matter how much you try you just can't get out of the gloomy phase...but for me it only lasts a day or less! I'm naturally a happy person, my life really is quite good, if you look at what I have, everything looks really good! For one I have such good friends like you that I can rely on to cheer me up! Your poetry is always a pick me up! Fantastic Work Jack!!
