A Thousand Tears Comes Rain
The night is to rain a thousand tears
Every one drop as always left ignored
As we shelter away in fear
Simply to not be caught
The perfect rain... a perfect shame
Looking to the skies... knowing it’ll happen
Thoughtless to only remain
I give cheers to if only we learn
Setting a path never knowing
Almost as only a foothold will hold
We say we are learning
Guess we never know
Repeatedly we try to undo our mistakes
We never did
Just something new from the raindrops we shake
Have you seek?
Why run when you can walk?
Beneath the rain with without
Why fight when its fought
Why reason with doubt?
